Plain summary: We collect the minimum we need to confirm your booking. We do not sell your information. We keep it only as long as we need it.

1. Who we are

Villa D'Eliz Exclusive Farm Villa, a private farm villa at Purok 7B, Sirawan, Toril, Davao City, Philippines. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use this website or book a stay with us.

2. What we collect

When you make a booking request, we collect:

Full name — to address you and prepare your reservation
Email address — to send booking confirmation and follow-up
Phone number — for arrival coordination and urgent contact
Address — for invoicing and identity verification (Philippine BSP / DTI requirements when payment is involved)
Booking details — dates, villa choice, guest count, special requests

If you chat with our website assistant (Eli), we may temporarily process the messages you send to provide answers. We do not store your chat history beyond the current session.

3. What we don't collect

We do not collect your government ID, passport, or birth date unless required by Philippine law at check-in.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers or cookies.
We do not record audio or video on the website.

4. How we use it

To confirm and manage your reservation
To send you booking confirmation, payment instructions, and arrival details
To respond to your inquiries
To comply with Philippine tax and business regulations

We do not use your information for marketing without your explicit consent.

5. Who we share with

We share your information only with:

Our property staff (cleaning team, host) — to prepare your stay
Our payment processor (when payment online is enabled — currently in setup) — to process your deposit
Government agencies — only when required by Philippine law

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

6. How long we keep it

Active bookings: until 12 months after check-out (for accounting and dispute resolution)
Cancelled or expired holds: 30 days, then deleted
Email exchanges: as long as needed to respond, then archived for up to 12 months

7. Your rights (Philippine Data Privacy Act)

Under RA 10173, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
Withdraw consent at any time

8. Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all communications on this site. Booking details are stored on access-controlled systems. We are a small operation and may not have enterprise-grade security — please use a strong, unique password if any account is created, and don't share sensitive financial information by email.

9. Children

Our service is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Parents who book on behalf of their family are responsible for their children's information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when. Material changes will be noted on this page.
